Returns and Refunds Policy

We want you to be happy with your planner or journal. If something is wrong, here is how we handle it. This policy works alongside your statutory rights under the CPA and ECTA.
1. Your statutory rights
This policy does not limit any rights you have under South African law. Specifically:
- CPA s56: every product carries a 6 month implied warranty. If it fails to meet quality standards within 6 months, return it and we will replace, repair, or refund. Your choice.
- ECTA s44: you have a 7 day cooling-off period for hardcopy goods. Cancel without reason and get a refund. See our Terms and Conditions, section 8.
2. Digital products (PDF downloads)
Digital products are delivered instantly, so we cannot accept returns once you have downloaded the file. This is in line with ECTA s44(5)(c) and s44(5)(d), which exclude goods that by nature cannot be returned and software unsealed by the consumer.
Corrupted files: if your file is corrupted or will not open, contact us and we will send a working replacement. If we cannot fix it, we will refund you.
Wrong product: if you bought the wrong thing by accident, contact us before downloading and we will help you switch.
3. Hardcopy products
Damaged or defective: if your planner or journal arrives damaged, has printing defects (missing pages, misaligned print, torn cover), or is not what you ordered, tell us within 7 days of receiving it. You can choose a replacement (we cover the shipping) or a full refund. If we need the item back, we pay the return shipping.
Cancellation (ECTA s44 cooling-off): you can cancel your hardcopy order within 7 days of receiving it, no reason needed. Return the items in original condition. You pay the return shipping. We refund the purchase price within 30 days. See our Terms and Conditions, section 8.
Defects within 6 months (CPA s56): if a defect appears within 6 months, return it and choose replacement, repair, or refund.
4. How to request a return or refund
- Email remarkable.chaos.bus@gmail.com or WhatsApp 068 127 6535.
- Tell us your order number, which product, what is wrong, and attach photos if the item is damaged.
- We will reply within 48 hours with what to do next.
5. Refund timing
After we receive and inspect the returned item (or confirm the issue for digital products), we process your refund within 7 to 14 business days. Refunds go back to the payment method you used through Paystack.
